High School Graduates!

Whether they’re your first baby, your middle, your youngest, or your one and only, graduation hits a little differently. It’s exciting, a little scary, wildly emotional, and such a proud moment. You’ve watched them grow into who they are, and now they’re stepping into what comes next. Frequently Asked Questions

I have never done a photoshoot before. Am I going to be awkward?

Probably for the first five minutes, because honestly, almost everyone is. Then we laugh about it, I tell/help you on exactly what to do, and suddenly you are wondering why you were nervous in the first place. You do not need to know how to pose, where to look, or what to do with your hands. That is literally what I am here for!

What should I wear?

The goal is for these photos to actually look like you, just on a really good day;) Pick things you feel confident and comfortable in, and do not be afraid to show some personality. If you are stuck between outfits, send them my way and I am always happy to help. Parents, yes, you are allowed to have an opinion too. Just maybe let them wear at least one thing you hate. It builds character.

Can you help us choose a location?

Absolutely. You do not need to show up with a Pinterest board and a perfectly mapped out plan. Tell me a little about yourself or your senior and the overall vibe you are imagining, and I will help with the rest. Downtown, fields, clean and classic, colorful, editorial, sentimental, we will find somewhere that feels right for them.

How long does it take to get the photos back?

I give previews the following day after our shoot! Your full gallery is typically delivered within 5 to 7 days after shoot date! I know parents are excited, seniors are impatient, and somebody usually needs a photo for an announcement, yearbook, or graduation post, so rush delivery may also be available if you need them sooner!

What if the weather is terrible?

No need to panic over the weather app five days before your session. We will keep an eye on it together, and if the weather truly will not cooperate, we will reschedule. A little cloud cover can actually be beautiful, so we will not call it off just because the sun forgot to show up!

Can I bring my mom, dad, best friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, dog, emotional support committee?

Absolutely! Bring whoever helps you feel the most comfortable and confident. I just recommend keeping the group fairly small so the session still feels relaxed and focused on you. And yes, Mom, you can absolutely come. This is a big moment!

How do we officially book?

Once we pick your session, date, and location, your spot is officially reserved with a signed contract and retainer ($100 of total). The remaining balance is due by the day of your session. Parents, this is usually the part where you get pulled into the group chat. Sorry in advance!
